need help with outlook express (recoving emails)

i had my computer's HD reformatted and the guy who did it said he saved all my stuff before doing it, including (i hope) my email messages on outlook express. however, i cant find what the file is called or where it is (is it one file total or one file per email message?).

i found my address book (i believe that was a .wab file) but what type of extension will my messages have so i can do a search on my HD to find it.

thanks.
