Video Card Advice

I am going to get a video card for my birthday. Probably spend about $200. I am going to be playing half life 2. Which one should I get?

You could get an ATI 9600XT that comes with Half Life 2.

These are my specs if it helps:

Athlon XP2600+ 333
Gigabyte GA-7VAXP
1 GB of PC2700 DDR RAM
GeForce2 MX400

Can you see the weak spot? :-)

Get a 9700 pro or a 9800 non pro (if you can find one at that price). nVidias 5900 non ultra would also be a nice choice. One version of the 5900 even comes with "Call of Duty", but I forget which one. While theres nothing wrong with the 9600xt, when you get to the $200 price range all of the cards listed above pretty much wipe the floor with it performance wise.
