Outlook XP: having problems sending large files (~ 750kb)

I am trying to send 3 pictures to some friends, and I keep getting the "send/receive error" thing in the lower-right corner.

I used to be able to send like 10 pics at a time to friends with no problem running the same software on my laptop.

I setup Outlook XP the same way on my new desktop (it's sending/recieving just fine other than that).

Any ideas/suggestions that I may be missing in "Options" or "Customize"?

It sounds like your ISP or whoever you're sending email through has changed the max message/attachment size.

Hmm....it's my school, and it worked fine just a few days ago.

I hope that's not the case.

OK, I just tried a 100kb file and it didn't work either. I've been receiving files of 250-300kb today.

Ok *(again)*, to complicate matters the emails seem to sometimes be going out, yet they remain in my "outbox" folder AND I get the "send/receive error" notification.

No idea what's going on here, but it's quite annoying.

Funny -- I'm having a similar problem with Outlook XP, but I'm attaching much larger files. My Outlook hung on me when I attached a 3MB zipped file.

This is going to be a huge problem because I regularly send >3MB files to clients all the time, and if I have to find an alternate method, I'm screwed.
