I haven't opened the phone box yet. Will it interfere with the wireless network at all times or only when someone is talking on the phone?

Dunno. The base and phones may be sending out signals to keep in contact with each other. I turn my phone off when I'm not using it because I only make outgoing calls on that particular line and I see no interference.

Mine has no problem except it takes the phone a little longer to find a clear channel when I turn it on. Other people have lots of trouble.

You just got to try it. My wireless DID interfer and I had to go to 900Htz phones. There are many, many variables involved, so you just got to try it to find out...

I have two 2.4 Ghz phones and only had an issue once. Of course I was not able to get online without rebooting that one time.

Try it and see what happens.

Only when one of the phones is in operation, and ususally only when I am near my laptop. But, yes, it does interfere with my wireless network at those times.

I had problems, so I ended up getting a 5.8GHz phone... No more problem.

I have my D-Link wireless router in my desk next to the base of a Sony 2.4 GHz phone and everything works without any problems.

What brand did you get. I was thinking about the Uniden two phone set at Sams myself for the same reason.

Well, I just decided to open it and try it and see. I figured if it messed with the connection we would try and take it back. Luckily, though, there seems to be no problems whether talking on the phone or not.

Thanks for the replies
