keeping two copies of Outlook in sync between 2 computers?

Hi! I am getting a laptop and will be setting up a wireless network in my apartment with my desktop. I would like to be able to have both machines download my emails from my POP and IMAP accounts, so that they both have identical inboxes. Is this possible? thank you!

imap, you shouldn't have to worry about it since the data is stored on the server... i sure don't.

Here's the way I do it with Outlook and Windows XP....it only works on the network though. Determine which machine will be used to store all messages. Share the following folder on that machine granting permission to the user name on the secondary machine:

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (You will have to change the view setting to show hidden files)

Map a network drive on the second machine to that share.

Direct Outlook on the second machine to use .dat files from the shared folder. Both machines now have the same e-mail inboxes, contacts, appointments, etc. as long as the two machines are networked. The primary machine will always have them, the second machine will not if removed from the network or if the mapped drive is not attached.
