My new friend: 17" Powerbook

Aside from working with an AVID editor on a mac, I don't know a lick about apple computers. I still own a PC for everyday stuff, but I just got a new 17" Powerbook, 1.33G Proc, 1G RAM and 200G Firewire800 ext. LaCie drive!

...Now what do I do with it?
I'm mainly going to use it as an editing machine with FCP, but any great tips from Panther users, if there are any on this forum?
