IE-6 browser is corrupted somehow. using Netscape at the moment. I uninstalled IE-6 and then reinstalled, but no luck.

all other internet activity (AIM, multiplayer games) are fine, however IE-6 just shows up as "can not display..."

thnx in advance.

May be a bit extreme but how about reinstalling the OS over your current installation to see if that may do it. Whatever version of IE is on your OS will be reinstalled but it may cure the problem...

Have you checked for viruses?

Try opening up a command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd) and type this:
ipconfig /flushdns

Check out this link to reinstall Internet Explorer

btw, what OS are you running?
