Firewire card causing PC to reboot after shutdown.
Hi guys, I'm running XP Professional SP1 on a Gigabyte GA-7DX motherboard and have just added a Pinnacle firewire card for capturing video from a mini DV camcorder. All that works fine, but with the card plugged in, the PC reboots about 5 seconds after shutting down. The PC will actually power up the second you plug the card into the PCI slot. The only way to stop it is to hold the power button in for a while. Anyone any ideas why this is happening and more importantly, how to stop it?
