Help! I'm Having Problems With Photos and Animation on My PC

Just recently, all photos and animation (in banners, for example) have taken on a hazy, almost infra-red look. I just had a new video card installed in the last couple of years. I also checked the resolution (800 x 600, which is what it normally is) and the color choice (High Color, ditto).

I can't figure it out. The only software or programs I recently installed was an internet download accelerator from my ISP (Bellsouth) than I downloaded. I don't see how that could affect my photos and animation on my screen.

The text is all fine. No probs there.

I hate to take this all apart and haul it off to a PC repair store.

Any suggestions, or anyone ever experience similar probs?
