Hard drive/laptop cable?

I have an old HD that I want to pull some files off of. Os there a cable I can get to hook it directly to my laptop (via USB?)? I could always set it up as a slave on my desktop, but I don't feel like going to the trouble. Any suggestions?

There is no cheap way of doing this.

hmmm....You could buy a usb harddrive case and install you Hard drive into it. Naw.....that would be just to much trouble. Just make it the slave on your desktop.

If you don't already have the USB Hard Drive Case, then making it a slave drive on the desktop would be the easiest way.

Cheaper too.
