Is it worth the extra extra money for the Sony burner?

In my opinion...no. But I have never used one. It could be awesome and I could be living in my own delusional world, but I looked at many reviews and comparisons and I chose the Pioneer. I'm loving my Pioneer right now, but that may be because I've never used another DVD burner and I'm being blinded by my new technology.

I did think the Pioneer was worth the extra money over the Optorite, but then again I've never used the Optorite either.

Currently I highly recommend the Pioneer DVR-106.
