Google toolbar causing font size change?

Recently installed the Google toolbar in Internet Explorer to block popups, and seems like about the same time I starting having this 'problem' where, intermittently, when I change web pages the font size will change from "smaller" to "medium." It's bugging me having to go into View/Text Size all the time to change the setting back. Anybody else having this happen and/or know how to prevent it from happening (besides uninstalling Google toolbar)? Thanks.

I'm running the google toolbar, version 2 beta, and don't have this problem.

I think the problem is that while you are websurfing (maybe while allowing a popup to come through, using the CTRL key) you are also scrolling up and down with the scroll wheel on your mouse.

CTRL+UP/DOWN on scroll wheel is a "shortcut" to change the font size.

Hope that helps

I do scroll with the mouse wheel, but I don't use the CTRL key much (hardly ever); the text size keeps changing, though. I also noticed that it's doing the same thing on another computer (at work) that doesn't have the Google toolbar, so I probably owe Google an apology for suspecting its cool popup-killing toolbar!

There is a conflict between IE and Outlook with the font sizes...more info and a fix for it here:

Thanks for the info -- that looks like the problem I'm having, but on both involved computers I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0, not 5.0 as discussed in the linked page. Maybe there'll be a similar problem identified/fixed for 6.0?

Edit: also, my font changes when changing web pages, even if I haven't viewed an e-mail in Outlook.

It may not be the same issue then, but I had the problem on a new laptop that had IE 6 on it, so I think it is not just an ie 5 problem. Hopefully that will solve the problem for you.

yes, i have a similar problem... wasn't sure exactly what it was though. i'll look at the link provided above. but i have outlook, ie6, and xp. i also had just installed google toolbar 2.0 but didn't make any connection w/ that.

i know about the ctrl-scrolling, but that wasn't the cause.
