Need to Format an WINNT 4.0 Workstation Machine

Basic question -- I have several old NT workstation computers, and I need to be able to format their hard drives. On one of these computers, I need to install Windows 2000 after I format the drive. What is the quickest, simplest way to make a single boot disk that will give me the ability to format the C: drive?

Or failing that... what is the quickest way to format the C: drive on an NT Workstation machine?

Can you boot off the WinNT and Win2K CDs? Check the BIOS of the machines to see if that's a boot option.

Nope, I cannot boot from the CD. I have an MSDN CD with the various Windows 2000 OS on it (Pro, Ent., Server, etc.) but it is not a bootable CD. I do not have access to a Windows NT CD. I also do not have access to any MS-DOS disks.

You can make a Win98 bootdisk from a machine that has that OS on it. You can also make bootdisks (3 for WinNT I believe) by running a batch file that should be on there.

Try http://www.bootdisk.com for bootdisk images.

Wow, this is eerie. I actually went to Yahoo, did a search, and found www.bootdisk.com. Downloaded their file, and while it was creating the disk... checked back at DVDTalk.

Dave99, X, thank you very very much. I'll let you know if I have any other hangups.
