Problem with Internet Explorer

I lost the little bar at he bottom that tells you what page is loading, progress of loading, and has the little "lock" symbol. Any ideas how to get it back?

Go to View on the top menu and check Status Bar.

I have this problem aslo. I will recheck this status bar option and close IE so it saves the changes, but after a few days, it goes again. I think it has to do with opening new windows constantly as that seems to spur it on.

I used to get that too, where it wouldn't stick. There's a Windows setting you have to set to make it stick.

It's been a while, but it might be set by using the Folder Options in Windows Explorer. You need the status bar shown in the current window and then click the button to set all your folders like the current folder.

Of course, I could be wrong. I think we talked about that once in here so you could try doing a search.
