Help! Weird pop-ups!

Ok...for about 3 weeks now when i'm online i get these weird popups. as you can see they're not in a normal explorer window, but some weird window so i assume it's comining from my computer.

how can i find what program (no viruses i've checked) is making these pop up? I cant find it! I tried task manager to see what programs are running and they were all ok.

help!! how can i zap these? i saved my screen so you could see them.

While it will prevent the Messenger Spam, I'm personally not in favor of the stop the service "solution." It's fine for most everyone, I guess, but if you want to keep your Messenger Service active (as I do), you should look into a personal firewall like ZoneAlarm. Discussions on this should be in the DVDTalk links above. If you just want it to go away quickly, though, the sms site will show you how.

I have been getting it for a while till I bought a new computer with firewall. Sheesh... I got to kill somebody who invented it.

I already run Zone Alarm, but out of curiosity, would Mozilla kill these messages like regular pop-ups?

No.

It's a windows service and has nothing to do with a browser.
