Ebay - Is this a good system?

Yeah, I was thinking about building my own system... I think I changed my mind though I got on ebay, and found this, which seems like a good deal.

Amount: $1,879.00

Note:Intel Penitum 4 3.0Ghz Hyper Threading 800Mhz FSB wtih 512k L2 Cache Retail
Boxed Processor with Original Intel Fan and 3 Year Warranty

ASUS P4PE/L with 533Mhz Front Side Bus DDR 333 Support (This is the best
overclocking board on the market today with adjustable FSB to 800mhz)

Super ATX Rainbow Case with 350 Watt Intel and AMD approved PowerSupply, Front
USB 2.0, Audio Panel, and Rainbow Light. (The color changes as the system
operates.) For a Limited Time, Free Clear Side Panel.

ATI RADEON 9800 128MB AGP 8X Video Card with DVI and TV Out

1024MB PC2700 DDR333 (3X Faster than PC133)

Maxtor 120GB 7200rpm ATA133 Hard Drive (33% Faster than ATA100 Drives)

16X Sony DVD ROM Drive with PowerDVD Software

Toshiba SR-5002 DVDRW

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum

3 Port Firewire Card

10/100Mbs Fast Ethernet Network Card (DSL AND CABLE Ready)

3.5" 1.44MB Floppy Drive

Three additional chassis fans

So once again, I ask for advice. I don't think I will have any problems with the seller (1104 / 99.4% positive), but does the system look good? I'm aiming for a top-of-the-line system, and this seems close enough (except for maybe the mobo, but I'm no expert.) Any bottlenecks or caveats?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think I'd be buying a system for that much money on ebay.

Is it a company and do they offer an enforceable warranty?

I priced a 3 ghz system with close to the same specs u had a couple of weeks ago for a friend, and I'm pretty sure you can find a much better deal (in terms of $$ and warranty) if you shop around. Even if you buy it all from newegg, you'd still be saving a lot.

Christ, I just priced the system at newegg, and it was CHEAPER at newegg. I guess after that 3000 dollar system I was (well, I guess now, am) building, anything looked cheap, and it started at 1100...

I have no grasp of deals, might as well just get a Dell.

I agree. You can get a similar system from Dell for about the same. Even if it is more it's worth since you have no idea what you are buying on ebay in this case. Are you planning on paying by money order too?
