My Cache is screwed up...

Don't know what's wrong, but it's been happening for about a week (or probably more now).

It seems as if IE is not caching ANYTHING and the temporary files are screwed up. Webpages are not cached (nor are images) and it's a pain in the ass to have to wait for every page to load if I just hit the back button.

Also, my temporary files seem to be screwed up - for example, if I click on a .zip file and select OPEN rather than SAVE, Winzip will open, but there won't be anything there - and if I OPEN at .torrent file instead of saving it first, I get an error that the file is missing (no temporary storing of the file).

I've tried deleting all my temporary files and clearing my history via TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS, but that doesn't work.

I'm using IE 6.0.2800.1106 - Win2k.

Here's my temporary files settings:

Check for newer versions of stored pages:
> Automatically

Temporary Internet fiels folder:
C:/documents and settings/administrator/local settings/temporary internet files

Amount of Disk Space to Use:
3663 MB
