12 hours for Ghost to backup 30GB to cd a normal amount of time?

I did the 3GB of my C: drive a while ago and don't remember how long it took, but it fit on 2 cds. Today I'm doing my D: drive. Approximately 30GB of data. The estimated time listed on the ghost screen is 12 hours. Does this seem normal? I don't mind it taking that long since I can get online with my laptop, although I wish I had known before it started and I would have done it some day when I'd still be awake when it finished. Also, will it hurt to leave it at the screen asking for the next cd for mutliple hours? It won't be done until about 5am and I have to work tomorrow so I'll be in bed around midnight
