What are these files?

I just had two weird text files show up on my c drive on Sunday and havent a clue what they are . One is named pollst and the other is pollog. Both are text files and I did a virus scan to see if that's what they were, but no virus. Anyone have a clue what these are? Below is the text of the file

It looks like a logfile from a C++ program that's monitoring something going in and out of NT Services.

Did you recently install some new software?

It has something to do with the latest ATI Catalyst drivers. It's still uncertain as to why they're there and what purpose they serve but hopefully, this information will put your mind at rest.
