Ipod Help

Ok. My Powerbook crashed.
the HDD was bad and was replaced.
The good news is I backed up my data.
The bad news is I can't seem to get my mp3's of my Ipod, and I really don't want to go thru the hassle of uploading my 8.2 gbs of CDs to my laptop again. Is there anyway I can snyc them?

You have to enable viewing of hidden files. I don't know how to do tis in Mac.

But, when you do that, another folder will appear on your iPod when mounted as a drive. The mp3s are within that folder, somewhere. They are still mp3s, but the file names may have ben changed around. Usually some gibberish added to the end. But they are still mp3s, not some weird format. All you have to do is copy them back to your hard drive and rename them.

If someone here is Mac savvy, they will tell you how to enable hidden files.
