What's going on with my 'tab' key?

This is a reeeeeeeealy stupid question, but my tab key has gone wacky. Everytime I try to use it, my computer will leap to another open program. Usually this isn't a hassel, but when doing any type of on-line banking (where I have Explorer and Quicken open at the same time) it becomes very annoying.

I've experimented, and it also does it whenever I have ANY two programs open. Any ideas?

this used to happen to me, and all i had to do to fix it was press Alt-Tab once (Alt-Tab jumps to another program), and the tab key would fix itself. Kind of like when an arrow key starts drifting, so you press the same arrow key and the problem remedies itself.

Try it out, hopefully it will work.

it sounds like you didn't know about the shortcut. If you get used to using it, it can be a real timesaver instead of having to go to the mouse each time. Give it a shot.
