How much is a video card with TV-out

I need to buy a video card with tv-out on it and was wondering how much they usually run for and what good brands there are?

Thanks for the help.

This probably isn't the cheapest, but you can get an ATI 7500 with VGA, DVI, and s-video TV-out for around $75.

A GeForce2 would have TV-out too. I don't know if you can still get them but they should be pretty cheap if you can.

What applications do you want it for?

Oh if the graphic card you don't want then just get a Capture card and it does in and out for cheap. Go to www.harddrive.com and search for it there.

Every capture card I ever had only did s-video and/or composite in, not out. That includes I/O Magic, Pinnacle, and Hauppauge models.

Here's one for $28...

http://www.directron.com/p49.html

Or you can just search for "tv out" over at http://www.pricewatch.com and find something more to your liking...

i got a nvidia geforce 4 mx440 with VGA, DVI, and s-video tv-out for around the same price.

geforce2 are around $40 or so. go to www.pricewatch.com and search for "geforce tv"

also, the 3dfx voodoo3 (or what not) has tv-out. it should be dirt cheap.
here's a $15 generic card.

personally, i'd recommend going with a geforce, since they have good drivers.

Voodoo3? Hell, I've still got a Voodoo2 w/TV out in a machine that my four-year-old uses. I'd swapped it with a Viper 770 (or something) but it wasn't compatible with all of his games.

Owning a geforce2 with tv-out, I cannot recommend it in the slightest. Just awful picture quality and everything I've read on it makes it sound like it's not just me.

You might want to look into the ATI Radeons. I just bought a 8500LE at Directron for 72 dollars (it was less than that, but I used coupons). Newegg and Mwave also have some for cheaper prices if you don't want the latest technology (not that the 8500LE is, but it plays the Sims and it plays Mame, so it's great for me!)

If it doesn't matter if it's used, check out anandtech's for sale forum. They always have plenty of Radeons for sale at pretty good prices as well!

If you really want to learn more about good S-video out, search Google for S-Video and MAME together. You'll find out a lot!

Thanks for the help.

I guess I'm getting it for some video capture, I want to watch some of my videos from my computer on my TV and some of my games. I'm still unsure on what to get since there are so many different suggestions.
