Can previous years Turbo Tax data be used on this years Tax Cut program?

Hi All,

Last year I filled using Turbo Tax. This year year, with all of the spyware in Turbo Tax, I've decided to go with Tax Cut. However, my data from last year is Turbo Tax. Is there a way to convert the data to Tax Cut format?

I looked on the box of the Tax Cut program while I was in the store yesterday and did not find anything that said Tax Cut had this capability. Maybe I missed it?

Thanks!

I looked at their website. They say it can, but I haven't used TaxCut yet..

(I've already bought TT this year, but I'm mad at them and researching TaxCut for next year; based on some other responses I got here, it looks like it does everything I need.)

I can tell ya that TaxCut Deluxe offers an option to import previous data from either TaxCut or TurboTax. I assume the Standard version does, as well.

Deluxe gives you free e-file (after rebate).

No problem. I can also add that TaxCut was a royal bitch when I wanted to go back and add a direct deposit account number after-the-fact. Even after manually over-riding it, it wouldn't print it on my state 1040 form.
