Canon Digital camera software question

When I hook up my Canon S10 and switch it to PC mode a popup is supposed to come up to let me choose which registered application I want to open the pictures in.

Ever since a reformat, there has been nothing in the list. Is there anyway to get photoshop back in there like it was before?

I just tried re-installing the Canon drivers but it didn't help.

I don't see anything there either. And it was my first install.

I just go to Start->Programs and start the app.

Hmm, somehow I managed to get Photoshop in the list and a couple other TWAIN compatable software programs before.

I just open photoshop manually too. Just more steps since I have to select TWAIN device and do the normal TWAIN stuff in photoshop as well.

I contacted Canon and they blame the empty events list on service pack 3.

You can set it to automatically start a particular program by unselecting all other programs in the list by going to

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Scanners and Cameras/Properties/Events.

Leave only one box checked.

Make sure the camera is connected or it won't show up in the list.
