Sorry I can't help, but I was wondering how you liked your 9700 pro vid card. I was going to buy one yesterday, but I'm looking for the 9700AIW.

Can't log in til 3AM? You say that the modem disconnects if router's connected? Is that disconnected from the net or from the network? I am not expereienced with cable, but there are other members that are. Are you seeing the other two computers? Like go to RUN>cmd>net view. This should show the computers' names, if it does, but no net, then I'd call the ISP tech support, and maybe even the modem TS as well.

Is the router brand new?

Are you able to get into the administration settings for the router at all?

Check with the cable ISP tech support, and see if they check the MAC address before allowing access. It could be blocking since the router has a different MAC addy than the network in her pc.

You should have waited a little longer... the Hercules 3D Phrophet came out... it is a 9700 pro exept its from hercules. It has more heatsinks so you can overclock more. You can crank the memory bus to 400! but it's a 100 dollars more expensive...

It's possible, but usually they (cable company) only concern themselves w/ the MAC address of the cable modem itself. Otherwise they would have to provide support to customers everytime they got a different computer.
