How do you keep customized views in XP?

I recently got XP. I like to sort my music by Date Created, so I know what to add to Winamp. God-dam Xp keeps changing my view in My Music folder, so I it won't keep the settings. Is there a magic way to keep your default view settings?

I'd like an answer to this as well. Perhaps it's the "remember each folder's view settings" checkbox in Folder Options?

You can add options under View->Change Details... but I can never get it to stay put each time I reload the folder.
