Wireless card showing up as DISABLED after every reboot ?

Hi All,

I have an IBM Thinkpad T23 that my firm gave me. I have a wireless card (Intel WPC2011BWW) and the built in 10-Base-T ethernet card that is in my laptop.

Everytime I reboot the laptop, the wired network shows up fine, but the wireless network appears disabled. If I re-enable it , it works FINE. The problem is it's one extra step that I have to do - a little annoying.

My question is 1) how come the wireless network shows up disabled whenever the machine gets rebooted and 2) how do you keep the network enabled after reboots?

FWIW, I am running Windows 2000, SP 2 on this laptop.

Thanks all!

Do you have administrator privileges on your laptop? If you don't that may be why the change isn't sticking and it resets after every reboot. But I'm reaching on that one.

Maybe you need to set the connection as default? Or check the radio button that says "Never dial a number". Just a guess.
