WinZip Question

I have a man folder with about 20 folders in it

Can I use Winzip to zip these and keep the folder system in tack?

I have tried but with no success

I want to double click on the WinZip file, see the main folder, click on the main folder and then see the 20 folders with their files in them

Anyone?

I just tried it with all my favorites folders. I'm using Winzip 8.1. I highlighted all my folders and right clicked and added them to a archive.

You will not see the actual folders inside the archive, but if you scroll over inside the zip file you can see the path that they will extract too.

I extracted them to a temp directory and it make an exact copy of my favorites and all the subdirectories.

Edit----- as for seeing the actual folders... hmmmmmmmmm

Lateralus is correct. If you throw all the folders into the zip file you will not see the folders and structure there, but if you unzip it, it will unzip with directory structures intact.

Hmmmm..

interesting...

How about that program caleld "Zip Folders"

I am getting at all this, becasue I want to password a ton of files and burn to a CD. I would like to have the directory structures IN TACT while looking IN the zip, to make it just like a regular windows explorer environment, except password protected.

Any suggestions?
