Another DVD burner question...sorry

I'm looking for a burner also, but money isn't an issue. What is the best, AND most compatible burner? I was checking them out, but they all 'look' the same. What is the best speed? What is the most useful format, i.e., +RW, -RW, etc...

Please gimme some help guys!!
