questions about exaclink (on cd-recorders)

I don't really know what it is, but I do know what it does (for me anyway): it creates coasters like crazy.. out of 10 or so cd's i've burned lately, a good 8 or 9 of them have been coasters, unreadable even by the drive itself, and i narrowed it down to having exaclink on. Does anyone even use this? is this a drive specific thing, or a nero specific problem? I think I'm just going to stay the hell away from this "feature".

That is all

It's probably just your burner, although it's worth trying a different s/w package. Lots of other drives ship with similar technologies, under various names, and they generally work quite well. I know I haven't made a single coaster since moving to a TDK drive with BurnProof.
