Windows ME settings help,please....

Hi,


somehow a setting got messed up and it`s now stoping me from doing something ill try to explain..

when im up at the main screen that shows all my folders i guess that would be"my start up screen"i used to be able to just left click to get into any of the Programs,now i have to right click and then hit Open?????how can i change this back???

as you can tell im a computer newbie

i've seen that happen in ME before, but it went away on the next reboot. have you already rebooted the system since this started?

Im missing your problem..

are you saying it backwards?

you mean, you use to be able to left click to open..

but now, you have to rightclick and select open?

try opening a folder.. going to tools.. folder options.. and hit restore defaults

Just to expand your knowledge a bit. You could also fix your mouse by going to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Mouse and then fix your mouse buttons so that they're configured for a right handed user.
