How to set up for a dual boot?

What do I need to do to get my computer set up to dual boot WIN98SE and WIN2K? Do I need two separate hard drives and twice the RAM? How do I get both OS to load up?

Thanks,

DAC

You wanna do it the really easy way? Buy one of these ...

Basically, you push a button and then boot the PC. It will see only the drive/os you select and data will not be interchangeable unless you set up a shared slave between the two booting drives. But honestly, this is the only safe way to set up a dual boot PC. Either this, or a removeable HD bay. This is easier.

I had two partitions installed win 98se on the first partition and then win 2k on the 2nd partition. I used fat 32 on both so data was available on both partitions at the same time.

DAC.. you dont need any extra software or anything special

if win98 is installed first.. then just install 2k as a fresh install.. and it will create the dual boot.. nothing extra has to be done

if 2k is installed first and you want to add 98.. then it takes a little work.. but is still pretty easy.
