Just TOTALLY erased HD. Need to install Win98! Not working

Hey,

Just used a program called "AutoClave" to TOTALLye rase the HD

Every time I start the comp up now, it says "please insert bootable media in appropriate drive"

So it seems totally whiped

I downloaded a Win98 boot disk from bootdisk.com

I am using that but can not get the Win98 setup to run

It seems to keep locking up

I DID run Fdisk and created a new "partition"

What can i do?

you created a new partition with fdisk

did you format the drive afterwards?

Oh, I know ... I know ... maybe ... maybe not ... but you do have to " format /s " to make the HD bootable and add appropriate boot sectors, etc.
