Help...Toshiba Laptop/+ Costco coupon;Good or not ?

Hi IlikeDVD here. I need advice/help again, please. I want to get my GF and Dad a Laptop. I saw this:
Costco is having their Passport/coupon deals right now. Starting tommorow (Mon) is a $100 OFF of their Toshiba Notebook Computer Item # 13976

Now, is this a good deal for this Model/Brand of computer? Is there anything you can recommend to me that can beat this computer or price? I know you guys can help me out. The only thing i see missing from this is a burner. And i'd like to stay at this price range. Please dont recommend to me something like " Well for $XXXX more you can get......" Well hope you can help . Thanks guys.

Well if this is the best you've seen for a laptop that's within your budget I'd say go for it. Costco has one of the best return policies in retail so you can be sure that if you have any problems with the laptop you'll be able to return it and get your money back.

Also just a note, at that low price you're only getting 1 year of warranty and support. Some manufacturers (i.e. Dell, Gateway, Micron, etc.) will offer you a 3 year warranty on parts and labor, but the price probably won't be as low.
