How do I stop Kernel32.dll errors from happening?

I am not sure what Kernel32.dll means, but everytime I start IE, I get this error. What is it and how do I stop it?

What OS are you running? You can try to do a defrag, and it the problem persists try "repairing" IE (control panel---add/remove progs---Internet explorer----select "repair").

Thanks! I am running ME
I would also recommend that you consider an upgrade to XP - noteably, XP Pro. I moved from 98SE to ME, only to reformat and go BACK to 98SE, then to move to XP Pro. With XP Pro, I have yet to run into ANY BSOD's as well as kernel32.dll problems (and I've been on it for over a year).

Hopefully the repair option would work

I used to have ME and always had problems like that, do yourself a favor and upgrade to XP. Trust me it will save you a lot of headaches.
