Thank you for your interest in Windows Update

Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer.

The latest version of Windows Update is only available on computers that are running Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
I suspect Iíve got something turned on to automatically look for updates, but I canít seem to find it. Iíve seen this on two different computers running 98SE with IE6.0. (I'm not sure, but I think I may have seen it on an NT computer at work.)

Or is this just Microsoftís way of ramming XP down our throats? I understand MS is no longer supporting 97 products, but this kind of approach seems like overkill, IMO.

Upgrade or your computer will die!!
