Can someone recommend software to make ASP pages?

I need to update our companies site to add a shopping cart, online ordering, more advanced forms, forms where the information gets stored in a Access file or emailed to us, etc. I have little knowledge on how to do this so i'll be getting the "software x for dummies" to help me, but i am usually pretty good at teaching myself new software. Can anyone recommend software like this that doesn't cost too much (like $200 or less) and is also newbie friendly?

i use dreamweaver to make the site.

thanks

You might want to check out Dreamweaver MX as you've used dreamweaver before. It's supposed to be great for ColdFusion, but also was highly recommended by ASP101.com for ASP programming. It offers WYSIWYG style like dreamweaver, but also has a hand coding option to it (like coldfusion studio or Visual Studio)

Here's the review at ASP101.com

If you upgrade from dreamweaver, I believer you can get it for $199 (just need to prove you have a registered version of dreamweaver).

I used to use HoTMetaL Pro - had a nice editor.

I think Visual Studio .NET has caught up, and I'd use that if I were still in the ASP page making business.

Take a look at Microsoft Front Page. It is fairly easy to start but your server will need the Front Page extensions.
