Directory contents > Text file??

hello all,

is there a program out there that will take the contents of a directory and output them to a text file? starting to do a lot of data dvd burning, and this would be very helpful. thanks in advance!

Well you can do a simple text file list of a directory by going to the command prompt and then cd to the directory you want to list and type dir > xxxx.txt where xxxx is the name you want for the text file.

Or you can use a cataloging program...I use Advanced Disk Catalog and it's really great. It's share-ware but there are free ones to. Try one here http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.ht...log&tg=dl-2001

Just stay far away from Where Is It.
