Where do I install drivers?

I upgraded, or tried to anyway, from Win98 SE to Win2K and the modem and audio doesn't work. I downloaded the new drivers which should fix the problem, but I have no idea where to put them.

I have a HP Pavillion 8760 C if that helps.

Thanks,

DAC

Drivers usually come as or with an executable or some other method of automating the driver update process. If this is not true in your case, there must be some installation documentation included with the driver download or at least accessible from the website you downloaded the drivers from. If your coming up empty there, I would suggest contacting the component manufacturers for support.

Or you can click on start -> settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager. Find your device, right click, select properties. Then click the driver tab -> Update Drivers

Well, these devices aren't supported, however after scouring the internet I found that these new drivers should make it possible.
