Hollywood Plus way better than software DVD?

Hey,

Is the latest build of Sigma's Hollywood Plus card a big improvement over software DVD?

Thanks,
Tarso

If you need it, go ahead and use H+. If your system is powerful enough I would recommend against it because 1. It would be a waste of money since you can play DVDs without the extra hardware and 2. You will be locked into using their current software and you won't be able to upgrade the software in the future.

I like their software, it's very simple to use and I don't need all those other options anyway.

I used to use an H+ card on my old PII 400, but I got to say that the picture quality was a lot better using just software. If the computer was any slower, I may have had performance issues, but with today's speeds, I think it's not worth it.
