Visual Studio . NET question.

Does the "professional" edition come with compilers for C\C++, Basic, and Java (J++), or does it just come with the SDK's? I was going to upgrade, but wanted to be sure of what I was getting before doing so. Thanks.

I have it; I don't think it has a compiler for Java, but it does have very nice ones for C++, VB, and C#.

BTW the VB language has been radically changed for .NET, and is not backwardly compatible with version 6; instead, you have to use a conversion utility to transform the old code into compatible format.

It's J++ is now called J.NET. I'm not sure of the exact differences, being I do not currently use JAVA a great deal. It is does not ship with Visual Studio.NET at the current. However you can download the BETA version from MSDN to add J.NET to VS.NET's IDE.

There is also a coupon to mail in and when the final product it released you will be shipped a copy at no extra charge.
