New Version of WinMX is out!

WinMX 3.1 is now out, as of today. After months of development, the new programs seems familiar, yet highly updated.

It now allows downloads from multiple users.
Better color scheme
Quicker connections

WinMx is a P2P file sharing service, sort of like KaZaA. I like WinMX A LOT better than any of the others however.

I'll have to download the new version and try it out.

When I tried the old version, it would work for a few days and then after that wouldn't connect to any servers anymore. So I gave up and have been using Morpheus since.. I don't like on MOrpheus that you can't NOT share your files.

That's why I love WinMX.

I have all my MP3s separated by genre, as well as my videos. I don't share all my folders, but I share a few.

I wish I could believe them on that. I used to use Kazaa (not the lite version) and it wrecked havoc on m last PC by hogging all the memory and system resources.

Keep bumping up this thread and let me know how it works out and see if you can lure me to go back to using P2P software.

A 3.2 update is available now at winmx.com.

Regarding spyware - Ad aware hasn't detected anything, and no 3rd party progs have shown up on Zone Alarm.
