Question about sharing files/folders in XP Pro

Howdy

I have Windows XP Pro and have yet another question regarding sharing files/folders in XP.

When I go to set permissions for a file, I can add a group or user. Under the add group/user dialogue, there is an option to select the location. Well, when I click that, it only lists my computer. How do I get it to list other computers in my workgroup? Or is that not what it's for? The Windows help isn't very helpful.

Thanks

You can't add users/groups from another pc because your machine is a standalone, not a member in a domain or part of the DS.

If you want to share things, just create a duplicate account with the same password on the other PC and you will not be prompted for the user ID and password when you access the share.
