Server Memory Allocation errors?

Server Memory Allocation errors?

Anyone have any idea why this occurs?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49020 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

It works fine for 5 minutes, then you get one of those error messages. Wait 3-4 minutes and it's fine again.

Help?

I see the error in real time.

I am not a FreeBSD/Apache/PHP person, although I do work with some so I may be able to get a better answer tomorrow.

In a quick search I found this, maybe it will give you a clue on where to look in your code.

RE: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of XXXX bytes

Manuals are your friend.

PHP has a default of 8MB of memory per script.
If a script tries to use more than 8MB of memory: boom.


This is to stop scripts from going out of control and using all available memory, possibly crashing your server.

It would appear on the surface to be a PHP issue, I would have to say that in my mind I would agree. if I wer looking at what part of the puzzle was failing, it would point to PHP.

However, I do not know how to fix it
