anyone use the connection bridging on XP?

I wired directly into the switch on my work network.. but also have a wireless card that was picking up a very strong single.. so I decided to use the bridge network connection feature in windows xp to see how much difference it makes..
well.. I bridged them, and ran a speed team.. and Im hitting 5660kbps downstream and 5934kbps upstream.. the speed is pretty decent, Im sure its a little low now, because of the time of day and all the users on..
but I didnt run a test on each the connection on each individual card to see what type of speed they were getting unbridged.. and Im too lazy to go back and do that now.
so I was curious if anyone else has bridged their connections and noticed an increase.
