My screen keeps freezing ...

But only when:
(1) I'm playing StarCraft on Battle.net.
(2) Watching TV via the TV card.

This started after I bought a new video card and a new TV card. The video card is a Nvidia GeForce3 Ti200 card and the TV card is a Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP card.

Could it be because of either of these two?
Could it be the video card getting too hot?
Could it be a defective TV card?
I tried removing the hardware and reinstalling it.
Should I try a different slot?

Any ideas?

I think that's the heat. How many fans did you use? What about the ventilation in the casing? In your room?

First thing that came to my mind. But what's overheating?

I have the ECS K7S5A motherboard with 1.4GHz Athlon Thunderbird chip. Don't AMD chips just fry instead of shutting down when they overheat? So I figured that it's probably not this since the computer restarts just fine.

So, would graphics card shut down when it gets hot?

I have a fan on the cpu, a fan on the graphics card, PLUS a case fan. Although the case fan basically blows air directly to the CPU. Should I put more space between the graphics card and all the other cards?
