I hate the color of my computer

I don't know, maybe I can spray paint it.

I really hate the beige color that all computers, until recently, have been. In the future, landfills will be filled with this disgusting off-white.

Homeless people will build walls out of stacked moniters and discarded harddrives. It will be horrible.

Having just spraypainted a plastic wraparound car bumper, I would think that a computer case would be quite easy. At least on mine I could just take it off and paint, let dry and put back on. Not sure if I would try to recolor the stuff on the front. Have to agree whomever picked beige has no taste.

If you have an Atx style motherboard, check out this site for cases:

Some are pretty stupid looking, but others are decent.

I picked up a candy translucent red ATX mid-tower on the weekend for $US 23 (including tax). Didn't have a power supply, but I was able to cannibalize the PS from the bland beige Supermicro case this new one replaced.

Use vinyl dye on your plastic parts. It comes in spray cans, you can get it at auto parts stores. Goes on really even and then, and almost "rubberizes" the part. Looks awesome too.

Check my sig for pics of what I did to my case. It's been changed lately so I need to do an update.
