Sequential Image Downloading?

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I've done searches of both this forum and Other.

I need a program that will automatically download sequential images given a wildcard.

For example:
http://www.website.com/001.jpg
to
http://www.website.com/123.jpg

Any suggestions? I tried searching google, tucows, and couldn't come up with a good search string or any program that would do this...

Also, have you tried GetRight? It doesn't do sequential downloading that I known of, but you can do some copy and paste of the url and add the last few seq. number in or just right click on the link and add to the GetRight download list.

Saw that, but then I'd have to still right-click and save as...

Plus, it doesn't appear to work for me (maybe .gif files don't work):

I'll look into getright.

You'd think someone would make something to do this for ya

Oops, using the Directory buttons - not the image advancement buttons.

And why can't I just create a macro for my middle button or something that will automatically save it to the directory that was used the last time I downloaded?

Believe it or not, it's actually not porn - it's a comic strip.

And that program worked like a charm once I figured out how to use it - the documentation isn't that helpful.

Thanks!

if this would help... i'll put together something in VB for you. just give me a sample URL. also a place to email it. my web host server thingy is not functioning very well.

but... i haven't made one that actually saves the pictures... what you can do is clear your cache, put in your URL, start the program. let it run.... copy of all the images out of cache. takes as long as it takes to download the files.

let me know!

I think I downloaded that program and tried it out when you mentioned it in the other thread. Thanks for the offer though - ezpics works very nicely...
