DSL and Dial on Demand (DoD)

I need a program that will make my DSL appear like a dial up connection for Dial-up networking so that when I open Explorer or Outlook it will autoconnect...My Ameritech DSL software has a real crappy (slow to connect) DoD. I had one in the past that was awesome but I had to wipe my network connections to try to speed up the boot up process (anyone know how to avoid the 30 sec-2 min wait during boot up due to the NIC card?) and apparently I didn't have the proggy saved...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is the standard answer to almost all broadband queries, but i really do think it's probably the best: get a router. it'll take care of all that and keep you online without even worrying about DoD or winpoet or any of that junk.
