I need windows media help (concerning times)

I downloaded a couple music videos from winmx and I played them before they finished downloading to double check if it was the video I wanted.

Now everytime I play the videos, it doesn't show the correct time and I can't jump to any part.

For example, if the video is 5 minutes and I first played the video when only 30 second was done, windows media will play all 5 minutes of the video, but I can only fast forward up to 30 seconds.

And the time listed in windows media is 30 seconds. How do I fix this.

Win98

Thanks,

-Steve

Do I need to provide more info? Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me.
